About The Founder
Surrogacy Miracles Family Foundation (SMFF) was founded by 3-time surrogate and surrogacy agency owner, Shadina Blunt.
As a surrogate and breast cancer survivor, Shadina Blunt understands the importance of women’s health access, maternal fetal health education, infertility and surrogacy support.
SMFF’s mission is to democratize access to fertility support services for underserved and marginalized communities.
The Vision
We support families battling infertility, same sex couples, single couples that are in need of financial assistance in their journey. Our grants help to support areas such as:
- IVF Medical Procedures
- IVF Medications
- Surrogacy Agency Fees
- GC Compensation
- Legal Expenses
- 1 in 6 experience infertility in their lifetime.
- Infertility is a medical condition experienced by all genders.
- Causes of infertility can include heart disease, cancer, lupus and type 1 diabetes.
- An IVF cycle can cost approximately $15,000- $25,000.
- The average cost of surrogacy ranges from $100,000-$150,000
- High costs, social stigma, and access to medical resources continue to impact marginalized communities at alarming rates.

These grants can help cover costs such as medications, legal fees, insurance, and gestational carrier compensation, among other critical needs.
